Hartland village

The beautiful historic village of Hartland has everything you could need to make your holiday special.
We have a range of shops selling locally sourced produce, fresh bread, local meats, fish, pasties, homemade cakes, fruit and vegetables, phone top ups, lottery, off licence and newsagents.

There are two potteries, photography galleries, furniture shops -one of whose work has been in the Nicole Kidman movie The Golden Compass and an antique shop.

Just on the outskirts of Hartland village there are beautiful gardens and nurseries for the keen gardener to explore or you can always enjoy a delicious cream tea as many of them have their own tea rooms.

Award winning Pubs & Restaurants and Fish & Chip take away.

There is a playing field with tennis court, football field and play area.

Once a month there is a local farmers market in the village hall.

Three times a year, Easter, summer and autumn, the village hall plays host to the fantastic Harltand Craft Fair.

The Hartland Carnival is a fantastic treat for the whole family, it is always held on the first full week in August starting on the Sunday night through to the grand procession on Saturday. During the week there are all kinds of events from quizzes & bingo to fun nights and skittles.
